How to Buy Tickets

Ticket Information

To order tickets for the Merrie Monarch Festival hula competition, please complete and mail in the ticket request form.

Most activities during the festival week are free to the public; however, tickets are needed to attend the three-day hula competition. To order tickets for the Merrie Monarch Festival hula competition, please complete and mail in the ticket request form.

Dates of competition:

April 4-6, 2024

 

  • Each person may purchase a maximum of two tickets. Each ticket or set of tickets (explained below) allows an individual to attend up to three nights of competition.
  • If you choose to sit in reserved sections N and NR, and want to watch all three nights of competition, you need to purchase the Miss Aloha Hula ticket as well, this is what we’re calling a “set of tickets.” Seats in section N and NR are only reserved on Friday and Saturday nights, but are open to General Admission ticket holders on Thursday night.
  • Ticket requests must be mailed in. The Festival committee accepts ticket requests postmarked on December 1, 2023 and later. Requests postmarked prior to December 1, 2023 will NOT be accepted, and will be returned to the sender. *Note: If December 1st falls on a Sunday, then we will begin accepting requests postmarked on December 2nd and later.
  • Ticket prices vary depending on seating section and the number of days attending the competition. Please see the ticket request form for details.
  • Requests must include: 1) a ticket request form; 2) payment in the form of a cashier’s check or money order, in U.S. dollars; and 3) a self-addressed stamped envelope, please use a legal size (#10) envelope, and U.S. postage.
  • Please be sure the business you purchase the cashier’s check or money order from will reimburse your money if we need to return your payment to you. Refunds are given once we have sold out of tickets. Minimally, keep a receipt of your cashier’s check or money order to facilitate reimbursement from the business. Please do not purchase money orders before the last week of November, they may expire otherwise.
  • Be aware that the Merrie Monarch Festival DOES NOT sell or guarantee blocks of tickets to any tour group or travel agency.

(one person to attend all 3 nights)

SECTIONS: AE, A, B, C, D, K, L, M, P, Q, VL, VR 
$50.00 – 1 Ticket
(one person to attend all 3 nights)

SECTIONS: N, NR
$40.00 – 1 Ticket
(one person to attend 2 nights – Friday/Saturday)

General Admission Seating
(First come, first served seating):

$30.00 – 1 Ticket
(one person to attend all 3 nights)

$10.00 – 1 Ticket
(one person to attend Miss Aloha Hula – Thursday, sections N & NR)

Please Remember

  • Stand when the Royal Court enters and exits the stadium
  • Restrict movement and remain quiet during each performance
  • Unauthorized photography or video recording of any kind is prohibited
  • Use of stadium chairs in the bleachers is prohibited for safety reasons
  • No outside food or drink allowed
